The combinations of headline, sub-headline, topline, body copy, and buttons/CTAs are variable and flexible depending on the application, but there are some general rules to follow below:

USE OF TYPE FOR INDIVIDUAL TEXT ELEMENT

  • Headlines are in Montserrat bold and All Caps

  • Sub headlines are in Montserrat Bold All caps

  • Body copy is Open Sans Regular

  • Buttons and text buttons are Montserrat Bold, Sentence Case

  • Pull Quotes are in Montserrat Bold, sentence case

  • Footnotes and reference text in Open Sans

  • Eyebrow lines are Montserrat Bold and All Caps, if present any sub headlines must be positioned further from the headline.

TYPOGRAPHY DON’TS

No headlines in lower case or sentence case – they must always be capitalized.

Typography does not appear with a stroke or outine.

Do not apply a color underlay to the typography.

Typography is not to be applied vertically.

Do not stretch or skew typography in any way.
